Assessment and Reporting Summer 2020

Dear parent/student,

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support of Creagh College in these very challenging times. In this document we wanted to outline to our students and to parents how each student will be assessed for their end of year report. Our subject teachers have had online subject department meetings to decide what assessment methods and relevant weightings, and reporting methods best suit the needs of our students. We are very conscious that this is a very stressful time for everyone. It is not our intention to add to the stress levels that families are already experiencing. We know that not everyone has equal opportunity to education/internet and students and families health experiences may vary considerably. We did not want to penalise anyone for these elements that are outside of their control.

The following outlines the approaches Year Groups are taking:
