We offer plenty of Sports Activities to aid in an active lifestyle.
Athletics
Athletics in Creagh College continues to go from strength to strength each year with large numbers of students competing in Wexford, South-Leinster and Leinster competitions. The school has seen continued success in both track and field and cross-country events both individually and in team events. The first track and field competition usually takes place at the end of September so training commences early in the academic year in preparation for this. All interested students should see Ms. Nolan or Ms. Rossiter. Training is held after school on Wednesday 3. 30 - 4. 30 and will include preparation for cross country as well as track and field events.
Athletics also provides an opportunity for students to improve their fitness and there is no pressure to compete. We encourage all students interested in getting fit to attend.
Rugby
The rugby squad started training weekly recently, with a very good uptake from the start.
Training takes place every Wednesday at 4.00pm. All the players are very committed and are looking forward to the arrival of our new college Jersies. As the players skills progress we will arrange some friendlies against other schools. Our squad will also enter the Southeast Blitz in the new year.
Gaelic Football
First Year Boys Gaelic Football training takes place every Thursday from 3.15pm to 4.30pm. Gum shields must be worn.

Equestrian Club
The Equestrian club in the school is growing every year. We are aiming to participate in Inter schools activities, especially show jumping and hunter trials. The league starts in September and finishes in April with competitions held throughout the whole country.
There is a team event and individual event at all the shows. The novice competition is ran over 80cm and the open competition is ran over 90-1m. There is also a 1.10pm class for individuals. Any rider who wishes to participate in any of the competitions must have their own pony/horse.
